Helper Bees' Socktober Drive Kicks Off — Help Guelph Stay Warm

The Helper Bees are back with their sixth annual Socktober Drive — and they're aiming big. All through October, they're collecting new socks to donate to folks in Guelph who need them most. The goal is 5,000 pairs. Socks might seem small, but they're one of the most needed items for people experiencing homelessness. A warm pair goes a long way on a cold fall morning. If you've got some to spare, drop them off at a Helper Bees collection point around town. Every pair counts. **Uncle Sam says:** Keeps us all thinking about the people sitting next to us — and what we can do.
